Advanced Placement United States History (1770-Present) is a year-long, college bound course that deals with a more complex study of United States History than the traditional high school course. Students enrolled in this course will be involved in the in-depth study of all the major aspects of American History in preparation for the College Boards Advanced Placement U.S. History test which is given in May. Students enrolling in this class should have a strong English background and an interest in the detailed study of U.S. History. Taking the AP exam is an option.
